The European Commission’s newly released Operational Guide on Agroecology serves as a comprehensive theoretical and methodological resource aimed at fostering the integration, execution, and evaluation of agroecological transitions within development cooperation. The guide is divided into two key sections:
• Theoretical foundations, which explore the core concept, principles, and global significance of agroecology;
• Methodological guidance, which provides actionable tools for program design, policy dialogue, project development, and impact assessment.
Designed to bridge theory with practice, the guide equips practitioners, policymakers, and development stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to transform agroecological principles into effective actions.
