European Social Protection Group in International Development

The main goal of the ESPG is to offer a platform for coordination, information exchange and policy dialogue for representatives working in social protection and development. More concretely the group’s objectives are to:

• Promote joint advocacy on social protection issues of relevance to members at national, regional and global level;
• Promote the exchange of knowledge, policy experience, good practices, as well as data and information;
• Enhance coordination and collaboration amongst European partners on social protection policy dialogue, advocacy and programming;
• Discuss pragmatic approaches in advancing European policy coherence on social protection issues;
