The Council requests the Commission and Member States to encourage partner countries to adopt and implement National Action Plans against Child Labour to end the worst forms by 2016.
The overall objective of this report is to identify and assess current efforts to combat child labour in general and eliminate the worst forms of child labour in particular.
The Council affirms the importance of a comprehensive and integrated human rights-based approach towards the promotion and protection of the rights of the child, through specific actions and effective mainstreaming
