Tools and Methods Series

Launched by EuropeAid in 2007 the “Tools and Methods series” aims to structure the presentation of the methodological documents produced by the various thematic units

The collection includes three sub-collections: Guidelines, Reference Documents and Concept papers.

Guidelines are practical documents. They provide development professionals with guidance on the implementation of the European aid and key principles to keep in mind during the different phases of the project cycle.

Reference documents develop understanding on a given topic, give operational guidance on  the  implementation of the European aid and present best practices.

Concept papers present current thinking, promote understanding on a given topic and do not include professional guidance.
