Besides the coordination of European investment in the CGIAR, EIARD also aims at improving the coordination and alignment between all its members on broader agri-food R&I policies and strategies. EIARD also favours better linkages between its members and other European and non-European agri-food R&I related institutions, at regional and global levels. 

EIARD Dialogues

The informal Dialogues series on specific important topics or with key international/regional partners aim to share experiences, increase mutual understanding, and pursue more coordinated R&I efforts in agrifood systems among EIARD members. The following dialogues have been organised during 2023:

• Dialogue with icipe (April 2023) 
• Dialogue on Agroecological Approaches and Soil Health (June 2023)
• Dialogue with continental/regional organisations on Strengthening Institutional Capacity of African R&I Systems through Partnerships (December 2023)

The Country Profiles have been prepared by EIARD with contributions from staff of various national organisations involved in agrifood R&I and complemented by information collected from internal and online databases and websites.
