Argentina - EU Roadmap for engagement with Civil Society (2021-2025)

There is a growing, dynamic and vibrant CS Sector in the country with a long history of social activism. However, the growth of CS has not correlated to an improved legal framework for the sector: there continues to be a legal framework that hampers both the daily functioning and the development of SC’s full potential (legal, fiscal, administrative issues). 

The financial crisis and pandemic also have reduced funding available for civil society activities. This has forced CSOs to be more innovative and efficient if they are to continue to be operational and serve their constituents. This Roadmap sets out the EU strategy how to further engage with civil society in Argentina
