DG INTPA designs and implements the external action underpinning EU Global Gateway Strategy, the overarching framework for our cooperation partnerships with the partner countries, and building on the Team Europe approach. The most commonly implementation model, known as the Intervention Cycle Management (ICM), includes four phases: Programming, Design, Implementation, and Closure. For each of these phases in the life of an intervention, there are well-defined tasks supported by methodologies, tools, and processes that must be used to ensure optimal performance.
