This page provides support to DG INTPA colleagues in their Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Design practice.

DG INTPA designs and implements the external action underpinning the EU international partnerships, starting with EU Global Gateway Strategy, the overarching framework for our cooperation partnerships with the partner countries, and building on the Team Europe approach. These actions follow the principles of the Intervention Cycle Management (ICM), which includes three phases: Programming, Design, Implementation. For each of these phases in the life of an intervention, there are well-defined tasks supported by methodologies, tools, and processes that must be used to ensure optimal performance.
