Housing and basic services and their centrality to health outcomes is no longer viewed as separate areas but part of the broader housing system in the current COVID-19 pandemic. More than ever we have learnt how central our human settlements are and how they need to be supported with integrated and tailored responses. This paper discusses housing issues at the centre of our coronavirus response and how housing topics will dominate post COVID-19 urban agedna. Habitat for Humanity has been raising awareness on global housing and urban issues as part of its Build Solid Ground campaign in 7 countries across Europe, funded through EU DEAR.
