MEDART Methodological Guide
The Methodological Guide of MEDART - "Methods of Education for Disadvantaged Adults Rooted in Theater" project is finally available online for download.
If you are a social worker, a theatre practitioner, a teacher, this guide will be a valid support for your job with disadvantaged people. The MEDART guide contains theatrical techniques developed by the companies involved in the project, working with homeless people, migrants, women in jail, people with physical and mental disabilities.
The MEDART project aims to disseminate new dramatherapy methodologies developed through the sharing of good practices and techniques experimented with the activities of various European theatre companies including Divadlo Bez Domova, a historic company in Bratislava that has been working for years with homeless people and organises one of the most important theatre festivals in Europe for social inclusion; Teatr Grodzki, a Polish company working with puppets; Acta Community Theatre in Bristol, dealing with community theatre working with migrant women.
