Think out of the Box- To be Gender Transformative in our work

With the Gender Action Plan III (GAP III), the EU prioritises the promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment in all external policies and actions.
The GAP III establishes that 85% of all new actions will contribute to gender equality and women's empowerment by 2025, but it further highlights that achieving gender equality requires addressing the deep-rooted inequalities that persist. And to that end, GAP III establishes three principles that will guide the EU’s approach to gender equality in the EU external action: a gender-transformative approach (GTA), an approach that addresses intersectionality and an approach based on human rights (HRBA).
But the so called GTA far from a new approach. It is a step further towards gender mainstreaming because it addresses the structural change that must take place to realize the human rights of women and girls, in all their diversity, and build the path to gender equality and to a more effective and sustainable development spending And this infographic will provide you with the practical tips and tools for its effective implementation in your daily work!
