The European Coordination Group on Social Protection in International Development (‘the ESPG’) has been operating as an informal coordinating body since 2014, meeting twice a year to share information and discuss issues of interest regarding development cooperation strategies on social protection, between EU partners operating in social protection and development arenas (in particular, representatives of EU Member States and EFTA countries and, on a case by case basis, observers).
