
Anasia, has a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and Food Marketing, Msc. Agricultural Economics both from the University of Reading, UK, and BSc in Agriculture General from Sokoine University of Agriculture – SUA, Morogoro, Tanzania. She has over 16 years of professional experience in the agriculture in Tanzania, African region and Europe including the education sectors in Tanzania. Anasia has hands on experience in agricultural value chain analysis, agribusiness assessment, policy analysis, project management cycle and report writing skills with ability to inform different stakeholders on how the economic factors shape the implementation processes, outputs and outcomes of the planned economic development interventions. She has strong personal commitment to use her knowledge and skills to challenge the processes of elimination marginalization, disadvantage and poverty, especially, those that emerge from young people and women, ill-informed or prejudicial perceptions of social difference, e.g. gender, age, ethnicity and disability.
