I obtained a second-class upper honor’s degree in social work and social administration from Makerere University and a post-graduate Diploma in project planning and management from IUIU.
I am an approachable, hardworking, confident, self-motivated and result-oriented professional social worker with considerable 8 years of working experience in refugee settlements and communities through emergency and development programming in Uganda in expediting community work, protection and GBV in emergency and General protection in the community. A resourceful person with proven ability to work in a dynamic team with members from diverse backgrounds, develop and strengthen them in order to maximize organizational performance, ensure efficiency and efficacy.
I seek to use my academic and professional experience to understand community vulnerabilities and generate knowledge/solutions that contribute to the well-being of vulnerable groups.
KEY CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
• Successfully implemented 8 projects, i.e. NEPREF, Japan Platform, UNHCR, DANIDA, UNICEF, Omugo Multisectoral, BPRM and Decent Work and Social Protection Project with Danish Refugee Council, World Vision International and Enabel Uganda
• Provided protection services to over 1.5 million South Sudanese and Congolese refugees through direct case management, awareness creation on radios, trainings, dialogues, media platforms and IEC materials in Uganda.
• Member of the District child-wellbeing Committee at the Yumbe district task force.
• Second runner-up for child well-being hero and Teamwork award winner in World Vision Uganda employee of the year 2019/2022 awards, respectively.
• Improved well-being of 42,000 children and youths through Early Childhood Development (ECD), Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) activities in 21 centres in the West Nile Region.
• Supported 503 VSLA groups to save 800 million in savings for health savings in the Rwenzori and Albertine Region of Uganda.
• Provided Case management, community system strengthening, psychosocial support counselling services to 850,900 refugee children and the host community and cash grants, and environmental management.
• Supported 30 refugee children to be resettled outside Africa in partnership with UNHCR & the OPM.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Achievements of Service Users
Identified and prioritized the needs of 1,021,000 Ugandans, provided an analysis of the situation, and monitored the activities of beneficiaries, Associations, and grantees.
Coordinated activities of gender mainstreaming in the decent work and social Protection project as Gender Focal Point person.
Coordinated and collaboratively implemented activities with grantees like Uganda Hotel Owners Association in skilling 750 Youths in Hotel and Hospitality under close supervision of ministry of gender, labour and social development.
Partnered with the Government, UTB, Fair Trade, and Howarth HTL to train auditors and register 50 Tourism businesses for Fair Trade and sustainable tourism.
Collaborated with a partner to support 1,150 jobs in the Coffee value chain.
Participated in organizing 2 Tourism Expos for Pearl of Africa in 2024 and 2025 in selling out tourism development and promotion of sustainable tourism.
Conducted awareness creation to 4,180 beneficiaries of Enabel social protection project, that is, youths in the apiary, hospitality, coffee and cocoa farmers, etc., on decent work, labour rights and standards and employment.
Supported the skilling of 500 Youths in apiary entreprenuership.
Supported Work readiness program for 2,000 graduates in collaboration with the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE).
Worked closely with a partner to create 1500 decent jobs for youths and Women in the sectors of agriculture (vanilla value chain).
Worked closely with Private Sector for Development (PRICON) to improve the cocoa and coffee value chain for 700 farmers.
Trained partner staff on Saving for health methodology, household planning and Financial Literacy.
Supported a partner hospital to enrol 2,000 household members for the community-based health insurance scheme and 2,000 for Saving for Health.
Rolled out a savings for health scheme to 503 VSLA groups and saved 800million Ugandan shillings to meet their Health Expenses.
Trained community structures, that as Village health teams (VHTs) and community process facilitators (CPFs) on Saving for health and financial literacy.
Ensured data for all beneficiaries. Saving for health is entered in Kobo Collect, analyzed and reported to the management for planning.
Conducted baselines on occupational safety in apiary, cocoa and coffee cooperatives to ensure decent work.
Mapped all the stakeholders of the project in the Albertine and Rwenzori regions in Uganda.
Conducted review meetings with key stakeholders to gather insights and project ownership, and sustainability.
