As a biologist, since 2006 I work with direct seeding of species-rich native seed mixes for tropical forest restoration, and for the development of community-based seed networks as suppliers. In 2023, 24 seed networks active in 3 biomes gathered in Brazil as a national network of networks, the Redário. In this process I work closely with seed and restoration researchers, policy makers, seed collectors, community organizations, restoration practitioners, bioeconomy buyers, regulators and supporters of the ecological restoration Market in Brazil.
