
Giulia Massobrio works as TUDCN Coordinator for the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), focusing on the promotion of the Decent Work Agenda in development and development cooperation policies. Her dossier includes Agenda2030, EU’s development policies, business accountability in development, South-South and Triangular Cooperation. Before joining the ITUC in 2018, she worked as Technical Responsible for Development Cooperation and Project Management for the Trade Union Confederation of the Americas (2013-2018, Brazil). She started her international carrier at the ILO, as trainer and project manager for the Programme of Workers’ Activities (2009-2013, Italy and Peru). As far as her academic background is concerned, she holds a Master’s Degree in Law, a Master of Science in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance and development-related diplomas from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and Paris Sciences Po. Her publications cover issues related to decent work, international development cooperation, social protection and gender equality.
