Nadège Nzoyem is a forest & wildlife engineer from the University of Dschang (Cameroon) with MSc in forestry from the University of Bangor (United Kingdom) and several executive short courses in leadership, project management and sustainable production. She cumulates 20 years of experience in sustainable development and advisory practice working with international non-profit organizations to protect forests and improve the livelihoods of farmers and local communities and help them to mitigate and adapt to climate change. She has good experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including governments, bilateral and multilateral agencies, the private sector, multi-stakeholder platforms, civil society organizations and regional bodies. After a year in consultancies, she worked at the Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV) for 11 years as Advisor in Forestry & Environment. In October 2014, she joined Rainforest Alliance, leading the organisation interventions and growth in West and Central Africa for a world where people and nature thrive in harmony.
