42 Journalists Selected to Cover Natural Resource Management and Green Growth across Nepal
News details
As part of Internews’ Earth Journalism Network’s Media for Inclusive Green Growth in Nepal (MIGG) project, 42 journalists have been selected for a fellowship and mentorship program to report on Natural Resource Management (NRM) and green growth.
EJN and our partner Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ) have implemented the MIGG project since 2024, with support from the European Delegation to Nepal. To boost environmental coverage, 42 fellows were selected through an open-competitive application process. The first 20 fellowships were awarded in November 2024, the remaining 22 were awarded in April 2025.
The selected journalists, of which 22 are women, represent each of the seven provinces of Nepal.
