Call for Proposals: Action-oriented research projects on topics related to democracy support

The Team Europe Democracy (TED) Initiative seeks partners, such as civil society organizations, think tanks, research institutions, and academia, to submit proposals for action-oriented research projects on topics related to democracy support.

The purpose of this Call for Proposals is to empower participants to actively promote and protect democratic values within their communities, fostering a resilient and sustainable democratic culture in their immediate environments.

TED is looking to support up to 4 projects with a budget of up to 90.000EUR each for an implementation period of 8 to 14 months. The proposals should aim to expand the knowledge base on the practical application of democracy support measures.

Shortlisted projects will be selected by a multi-stakeholder selection committee, consisted of TED Members. Outputs and deliverables shall be disseminated to the broader TED Network and showcased at international events and meetings. Fostering synergies and encouraging follow-ups to upscale best practices is part of the goals of this Call.
