Study on cocoa production and forest conservation in West Africa

A study carried out for the EU PAPFor programme in 2023 collected tools and initiatives to guide sustainable cocoa production and thus support forest conservation in West Africa. 

The study has been published in a new edition in April 2025. It is available in French and English on this platform.

The NaturAfrica West Africa regional programme continues to support several of the transboundary landscapes covered by the PAPFor programme. Developing sustainable cocoa production remains a priority.
