The project consortium
The project consortium consists of organizations from various European countries that are dedicated to global justice, education, and intercultural exchange. The partner organizations are collaborating within the framework of the DCYDE! project to promote "Global Citizenship Education" and sustainable development.
Eine Welt Netzwerk Thüringen e.V., Germany
The Eine Welt Netzwerk Thüringen (EWNT, eng.: One World Network Thuringia) is committed to global justice and global sustainable development in Thuringia, Germany. The state network links associations, initiatives and individuals with other civil society and state institutions at state and national level and strengthens the work of these actors through training and advisory activities. With educational and information projects, the EWNT makes global interdependencies tangible and experienceable and thus contributes significantly to raising people's awareness of global issues and strengthening their skills to help shape the globalised world responsibly. The organisation's mission is to promote a global community based on the principles of the 2030 Agenda together with committed stakeholders from various sectors.
Südwind, Austria
Südwind is an Austrian non-profit human rights organization headquartered in Vienna that has been campaigning for global justice and sustainable development since 1979. With regional offices in Vorarlberg, Tyrol, Salzburg, Styria, Upper Austria and Lower Austria, Südwind implements development education projects and information campaigns. The editorially independent Südwind-Magazine focuses on international politics, culture and development and highlights global interconnections and their effects.
BJCEM (Biennale des Jeunes Créateurs de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée), Belgium
BJCEM is an organization connecting young artists and creatives from Europe and the Mediterranean region. Through DCYDE!, BJCEM promotes intercultural exchange and creative collaboration via digital platforms and cultural activities. The organization advocates for dialogue and the development of creative solutions to global challenges.
Chance for the Children and the Nature of Bulgaria, Bulgaria
The Chance for the Children and the Nature of Bulgaria Foundation has the noble aim to support the development of talented children and capable young people aged 6 to 20 by giving them opportunities depending entirely on their qualities and skills, diligence and persistence, and to sponsor their education, vocational training and creative development. Our major target is to invest in creative initiatives for advanced tuition and preparation in all fields of science, technology and art connected with the interests and talents of our children.
City of Grande-Synthe, France
The city of Grande-Synthe in northern France is known for its social and ecological initiatives, particularly in integration and migration. Within the framework of DCYDE!, the city shares its experience in inclusive, community-oriented education and the promotion of global citizenship, providing practical approaches to integration and intercultural exchange.
CROMO Alapítvány, Hungary
CROMO Alapítvány is a Hungarian foundation focusing on youth development, inclusion, and education. In the DCYDE! project, it supports young people in their active participation and contributes its expertise in digital learning tools and innovative pedagogical methods. The foundation particularly encourages youth-led initiatives and social entrepreneurship.
Amref Health Africa, Italy
Amref Health Africa is an NGO dedicated to improving healthcare in Africa. Through its involvement in the DCYDE! project, Amref brings its expertise in health education and sustainable development. The organization promotes youth education on health and well-being, particularly in resource-poor regions.
Lai-momo Società Cooperativa Sociale, Italy
The cooperative company Lai-momo was founded in Italy in 1995 by a group of academics, teachers and researchers with the aim of promoting communication between people and individuals from different countries and backgrounds. With an initial focus on culture, the cooperative later expanded its endeavours to the fields of online/offline communication, research, education, employment and social inclusion. Lai-momo has a wealth of experience which is highly relevant to the work of assisting the European Commission and national local authorities with communication and information initiatives and services related to activities in the fields of education, migration, vocational training and employment, youth, multilingualism, culture, sustainable consumption, active citizenship and media literacy.
LAPAS (Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation), Latvia
The Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS) unites 44 non-governmental organizations to promote societal sustainability and global development. Founded on August 12, 2004, LAPAS has served as the secretariat of the National Multistakeholder Coalition for Sustainable Development Goals since October 31, 2019. Through collaboration and action, we strive to create a safer, more sustainable world. In times of global crises, human responsibility, community resilience, and civil society involvement are key.
KOPIN (Koperazzjoni Internazzjonali), Malta
KOPIN is a Maltese NGO focused on international development and human rights. In the DCYDE! project, KOPIN promotes education on sustainable development and human rights and advocates for youth participation in global decision-making processes. The organization is particularly relevant for fostering global responsibility in the Mediterranean region.
BARKA – Fundacja Pomocy Wzajemnej, Poland
BARKA is a Polish organization committed to the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups, including migrants and homeless people. As part of the DCYDE! project, it supports the integration of marginalized youth and promotes solidarity and mutual aid as core values of global citizenship.
Novapolis Association, Romania
Novapolis Association-Centre for Analysis and Initiatives for Development is a Romanian NGO that aims to contribute to a democratic, inclusive and diverse society that is economically and socially balanced, capable to respond to everyone’s needs. Novapolis works with migrants in Romania, especially in Bucharest-Ilfov region and Constanta and South-East side of Romania. Its main areas of activity include grass-root actions, analysis and assessment of public policies and their impact, social projects in the field of migration, refugees and foreigners’ integration in Romania, workforce mobility, inclusion and participation of youth, social justice, community development and equal opportunities.
ISCOMET (Institute for the Development of Intercultural Relations), Slovenia
ISCOMET – Institute for Ethnic and Regional Studies is a private non-profit making organisation. ISCOMET is coordinating international wide-scale Projects, organising international meetings and mutual information and views exchange, promotes research, and encourages activities launched by governmental and non-governmental institutions or organisations for the purpose of promoting the democratic development of issues, which are its concern. ISCOMET and collaborators are dedicated to the activities for safeguarding peace, human rights and human dignity and friendly co-operation between peoples, states and regions of Europe, among other by strengthening mutual co-operation, promoting local development and by exchanging views and information.
