The public Works component of the PSNP is one of the largest rural development undertakings in Ethiopia aimed at creating community assets through the rehabilitation of degraded natural environment and construction of rural infrastructures such as schools, feeder roads, health posts, etc.
More than 80% of the PSNP resources are transferred to beneficiaries through the Public Work component.
