Overview

Description

As part of the Global Gateway initiative, the European Union supports the development of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor (TCTC) as a reliable and sustainable route linking Central Asia and Europe. The establishment of the TCTC Coordination Platform in 2024 created a structured framework for dialogue, coordination, and alignment among governments, the European Union, international financial institutions, development partners, and private sector stakeholders.

In August 2025, a consortium consisting of DB Engineering & Consulting and Dornier Consulting International was commissioned to support and coordinate the activities of the TCTC Coordination Platform for a period of three years. The assignment includes technical and organisational support across the following key areas:

  • Operationalisation and coordination of the TCTC Coordination Platform
  • Support to the efficient functioning of the Corridor, including the evaluation and prioritisation of infrastructure projects
  • Establishment and operation of the Coordination Platform’s back office in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan
  • Steering, monitoring, and reporting of activities
