*Training Objectives* The specific *objectives* of the course are that course participants become: * Aware of the linkages between environment, climate change, green economy and development * Aware of the benefits and challenges of integrating environment and climate change in national development planning and budgetary processes * Confident and familiar with the proposed framework and tools for integrating environment and climate change in national development planning and budgetary processes * Confident and familiar with the similarities, synergies and differences between the integration of environment and climate change in development cooperation (internal integration) versus the integration of environment and climate change in national development planning and budgetary processes * Motivated and equipped to support government and other stakeholders to (design a programme to) integrate environment and climate change in national development planning and budgetary processes
