Joint Programming Strategy under exploration
Team Europe Development Partners in Central African Republic are exploring the possibility to renew their Joint European Strategy that was in place between 2017 and 2021.
JPS 2017-2021:
Six priority objectives were defined and were aligned with the country's development plan. Good governance was taken into account as a cross-cutting issue. They were:

The aim of Joint Programming in CAR was to facilitate the implementation of the Plan de relèvement et de consolidation de la paix - République Centrafricaine RCPCA through the progressive harmonisation of the different country approaches and programming cycles of the European partners around the cycle and priorities of the RCPCA.
The joint strategy made it possible to federate the contributions of the Team Europe members present in the country and to include in the coordination the Team Europe members which do not have a representation in CAR. In 2020, several meetings of the Team Europe (FR, DE, BE, IT) took place for the preparation of the Team Europe Initiative (TEI).
What were the roles of EU Member States and of the EU Delegation?
EUD: leader in the good governance sector, co-leader in the sectors of health and education. Italy: co-leader with the EUD in the health sector France: co-leader with the EUD in the education sector, co-leader with Germany in the agricultural resilience sector Germany: leader in the Environment sector, co-leader with France in the agricultural resilience sector.
