Chad

There is no active joint programming process in Chad. 

In 2019, work started on a joint analysis of the challenges in Chad, involving the Member States present in Chad (France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain), Switzerland and the UK (at a technical level) as well as representatives of the government, civil society, traditional authorities and the private sector. This work led to the elaboration of a joint results framework for the multi-annual financial framework of 2021-2027. This joint results framework helped to draft the multi-annual indicative programme as well as the Team Europe Initiative, but didn't lead to a joint programming document with the EU Member States, as their programming cycles didn't allow any formal financial commitments.
