The Team Europe Green Initiative focuses on:

• Green and smart cities
• Biodiversity and Sustainable Landscapes
• Clean, affordable and secure energy
• Sustainable food systems (for the protection of natural capital, the prevention of new pandemics and an efficient production of competitive export commodities)
• Circular economy

Key contributions include:

• €783 million contribution to ASEAN Catalytic Green Finance Facility from EU, EIB, KfW, AFD, CDP
• Cities partnership through ASEAN Green Smart cities project
• Support to civil society for green advocacy and digital environmental education for young people
• Support ASEAN businesses to profit from green transition opportunities

Country level interventions are foreseen in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
