• Contribute to decoupling economic growth from resource use and supporting countries to move from linear to circular economic systems
• Tackle critical bottlenecks (lack of sustainable investments and financial incentives, sustainability-driven policy frameworks) and addressing sustainability challenges (air, water and soil pollution, plastics and waste) to underpin a productive transformation

The Team Europe Proposal activities include:

• TEI will operate mainly across the following value chains: Textile and leather; Buildings and construction; Plastics; Agro- and sea-food
• Support the design and adoption of policy and regulatory frameworks underpinning a green and sustainable transition
• Support the private sector to identify and integrate sustainable and circular solutions
