Transformational Potential:  The EU aims at contributing to the educational, economic and political inclusion of African youth

The Team Europe Proposal activities include:

1. Education to solve the skills mismatch between education and work

• TVET
• Higher education related to the private sector (quality apprenticeship, PPP, incubators)
• Use of digital technologies to improve governance, media literacy and awareness about human rights violations and dangers of digital tools
• Expand e-learning in promoting inclusive education 

2. Employment

• Smooth transition from education to a professional environment
• More opportunities for the youth Focus on high growth, emerging and innovative industries jobs
• Encouragement of youth entrepreneurship (access to credit, management, mentorship and financial services)
• Support to a conducive business and investment environment (access to energy and water, road infrastructure and transportation facilities) 

3. Empowerment

• Youth leverage for more influence in decision-making
• Creation of platforms to channel the voice and actions of the youth and to promote digital communication and innovative solutions Inclusion and empowerment of women and girls
• Linking youth to the Green Deal
