I am a highly accomplished and results-oriented professional with over 40 years of distinguished experience as a Principal Systems Engineer, Data Scientist, and Project Manager. I possess a proven track record of success at national, international, and NATO levels, specialising in the strategic development and execution of complex, global transformational R&D security and defence projects. My extensive technology background encompasses Security and C3 Architectures, Cloud/Big Data Architectures, and deep expertise in the NATO Security domain, including Common Criteria for ITSEC certification and Cloud (CCM of CSA) for NATO CIS accreditation. I am a recognised expert in NATO C3I Systems & Interoperability, including Interface Exchange Requirements (IERs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Interoperability Validation & Verification (IV&V) and Modelling & Simulation (NATO "(ALT)BMD" Integration Test Bed). As a Senior Data Scientist, I bring advanced expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), including Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative Pre-trained AI (GPAI), their evaluation trough HELM methodologies and the design and validation of Digital Twins. I am an active member of the Emerging Technologies (AI) WG of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and have been part of the NATO ACT Data Science Group. I am also proud member of the Italian National Association of Professional Engineers since 1989. My management approach is founded on PMBook, Prince 2 principles, integrated within an ISO 9001 quality system, as well as ITIL certification, ensuring effective leadership, team building, and successful project outcomes. I excel at building consensus and fostering cooperation among diverse groups across government, industry, academia, and international organisations. A pragmatic leader, I am adept at exploiting basic research and disruptive technologies to rapidly meet military requirements, emphasising synergy between research, engineering, and end-user involvement from project inception. Petros Kremonas has been working in communications on European affairs for a decade. He is currently the Communications and Campaigns Coordinator at the EU Office of Plan International, a child and youth rights INGO with a focus on girls and young women. Plan International is present in over 80 countries, working with a dual mandate as a development and humanitarian organisation.
Prior to joining Plan International, he was part of the European Commission Directorate General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO). Before that, he worked as a communications consultant, as well as in civil society organisations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in European and International Studies from the University of Macedonia in Greece, and a Master’s degree in European Affairs with a specialisation in European History, Diversity and Culture from KU Leuven in Belgium. Petros is an active volunteer in Brussels. He is supporting the communications work of a citizen-owned renewable energy cooperative that strives for the democratisation of the city’s energy system, as well as contributing to the work of organisations working on food access for people who find themselves in precarious living conditions.
 

Marika is a young professional in development cooperation sector, with background in Social Sciences.
She graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the University of Oslo with a
joint MA degree in Global Development and Education. As part of her studies, she has undertaken
research on Youth and Employability in Georgia as well as served as a EU funded GLOBED Fellow to
contribute to youth research. Her professional background includes working with development and
education organizations such as World Vision International, American Councils for International
Education and the most recently EDUCO Foundation in Spain on the issues related to youth development and education, gender equality, girl’s empowerment, and sexual & reproductive health and rights.

Currently Marika holds project officer role at the United Nation’s Population Fund (UNFPA), working on addressing gender norms and harmful practices.

I am Maria Yesayan from Armenia. I am currently working in UNICEF Armenia and have experience with local youth-centered and developmental NGOs in Armenia, as well as international organizations, such as World Vision International and National Geographic. I have Bachelor's with Honor in Governance and study abroad certification in the field of Political Sciences from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I have participated in various national and international projects covering diverse topics from diversity and inclusion to piece and security issues.

Having graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Spanish and Portuguese, with experience gained from current roles, I have become an excellent communicator with intercultural awareness, research skills, as well as extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technologies.
Currently seeking to build a career in areas relating to human rights with various international focuses.
