Environment, climate change and green transition

I am a Sustainable Development Practitioner with a diverse expanse of interests and subsequent expertise, which are founded on a keen understanding and appreciation for the significance attributed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Titulaire d’un Master 2 Géographie avec comme parcours Ecosystème et Environnement, j’ai accumulé plus de dix (10) années d’expériences. J’évolue dans le domaine de l’environnement et des Systèmes d’Information Géographique et j’ai participé à la réalisation de plusieurs projets nationaux et internationaux qui touchent au foncier, à l’agriculture, à l’urbanisme, à l’énergie, à l’environnement, au développement durable, aux changements climatiques et le développement local dans beaucoup de régions du pays ainsi qu’à l’étranger avec des projets financés par différentes institutions comme l’AFD, la BAD, la BOAD, la Banque Mondiale, UE etc.
Durant mon parcours, j’ai acquis une grande expérience dans la mise en œuvre de ces projets qui me permettent aujourd’hui d’être capable de fournir des appuis et orientations techniques aux activités opérationnelles dans les domaines de l’environnement et des SIG

I am Maria Yesayan from Armenia. I am currently working in UNICEF Armenia and have experience with local youth-centered and developmental NGOs in Armenia, as well as international organizations, such as World Vision International and National Geographic. I have Bachelor's with Honor in Governance and study abroad certification in the field of Political Sciences from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I have participated in various national and international projects covering diverse topics from diversity and inclusion to piece and security issues.

Expert and passionate about International Relations, I would like to deepen my knowledge in geopolitics.
I hold a bachelor's degree in International and Diplomatic Affairs and a master's degree in European Studies and Politics.

Since 2021 I work in the European Commission in DG REFORM, the DG responsible for structural reforms in the EU Member States.

Actively studying Ukrainian since a year, I would like to work for UA access to EU and for its support in general.

In my free time I prepare marathons, I play guitar and I follow Fc Inter matches going often to the stadium in Milan :)

My name is Lucie Boutrois, and I am a French and European citizen, who has been working over 8 years in the field of development and cooperation. 

While pursuing my Master's degree in Sustainable Development Economics at "Paris 1- Sorbonne University", I cultivated a strong interest in the resilience of civil (CSO) society, local solidarity, and the empowerment of youth. This passion led me to undertake a junior fellowship program in center for khmer studies in Cambodia, and later to work for the research & development institute in Senegal. 

Currently, I have been working as Program manager for the « NGO Village Pilote » that protects children in danger in West Africa and advocates international solidarity in France. My daily commitment extends to other local CSO that I support in strengthening their technical and financial capacities.

I am driven by the desire to make a positive impact on the world of tomorrow, creating connections and solidarity bonds within our European societies and across other continents, particularly with West Africa.

I'm a dedicated environmental engineering student, currently in my final year. With a passion for sustainability, entrepreneurship, and cultural preservation, I have over five years of extensive experience in environmental projects and initiatives across Egypt and the MENA region.
I'm a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and environmental sustainability, with a strong track record in civil society work. Currently serving as the Programs Director at the YLE Foundation, a UNFCCC-accredited organization, I played a pivotal role in advancing initiatives that address climate change, education, and women’s empowerment. I have spearheaded impactful projects, including the creation of Egypt’s first e-learning platform on climate change, the organization of innovative eco-camps, and capacity-building programs in collaboration with international organizations like Erasmus+ and the United Nations University.
I also have been an active representative of South Mediterranean youth, selected to join the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) study group. In this capacity, I contributed to enhancing youth participation in civic dialogue, advocating for meaningful engagement in policy-making processes that address critical regional challenges.
My dedication to civil society extends to global platforms, where I have represented youth voices at events such as COP27, COP28, COP29, future summit and the Euro-Med Summit 2024, participating in panel discussions and presenting actionable recommendations. My leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to creating sustainable solutions make her a driving force for positive change in the Mediterranean region and beyond.
