I',m a forester working at the National Forestry Commission of Mexico, with more than 25 years of experience in forest management, forest inventories and monitoring, public policy, payment for ecosystem services programs. I'm currently Manager of the National Forest Monitoring System
I am an Environment expert based in Kisumu County in Kenya. I have significant experience in integrating NBS into land use planning and have been actively involved in developing NBS within low urban communities working jointly with ICLEI under the Urban Natural Assets-Rivers for life initiative and UNEP Generation Restoration pilot project for cities.
I have significant interest in developing NBS and biodiversity business cases within the county to attract support not only in capital investment but also on a long-term to ensure sustainability.
My activities are international cooperation in forestry, timber trade, various national forest policy activities.
