I have a strong interdisciplinary background spanning anthropology, sociology, and communication. I hold an MA in Sociology from the Catholic University of Eichstatt-Ingolstadt in Germany and an MA in Journalism & Communication from Addis Ababa University. Currently, I am doing a PhD study in Anthropology at Mekelle University. My research interests lie at the intersection of Media representation of social issues, development communication, media anthropology, and health communication, focusing on the media's role in shaping societal attitudes and behaviors.
