Hello, Vibrant Community!

I’m Marie, and since February 2022, I’ve been steering the ship here as the Community Manager of Capacity4dev.

A wanderer at heart and by profession, my academic and work journeys have whisked me across five European nations and allowed me to dip my toes into professional adventures in seven countries globally. During my BA studies at the Metropolitan University of Prague, I carved out a little piece of history as the first student to navigate through the Erasmus+ program at the International BURCH University in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Quite a ride, I must say!

I work at Governance Section at the Guinea- Bissau Delegation, I am a Contractual Agent and have been working at EU for 24 years.

I am in charge of the justice and internal security sectors, of Democracy (electoral support, support to the National Assembly), human rights and gender.

I need to know more about international organized crime and illicit flows.

I am an experienced Press and Information Officer at an EU Delegation with a demonstrated history of managing communication and visibility, political reporting, public and external relations, and digital communications. I have interest in leveraging communication strategies applicable to support development, promote transparency, and engage diverse audiences. Keenly interested in global affairs, legal frameworks, and emerging trends in digital and communication disciplines. Skilled in crafting narratives and fostering collaborative relationships in multicultural contexts. Somehow introvert but flexible.
