Professor of Water & Environmental Sciences at the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa. Major interests in Water Resources Management in Africa. Areas of expertise are water resources assessment in river basins with limited hydrological data, environmental flow assessment, transboundary water resources management, strategic environmental assessment, environmental impact assessment. Has done projects in almost all the countries in east and southern Africa.
