
Susan Eróstegui (Bolivia) is the Executive Director of the National Union of Institutions for the Work in Social Action (UNITAS), based in La Paz-Bolivia. She has a degree in Communication Sciences -National University of Cordoba-Argentina (1990). She also has two post grades: “Equal Status and Human Rights of Women” Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (Sweden) and “Comunication for Sustainable Development” Universidad Andina Simón Bolivar (Bolivia). She worked in different NGOs and programmes of international cooperation agencies and public institutions (Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Canadian International Development Agency, University of Toronto, CECI, Ministry of Education …). Since 2000 to 2007, she coordinated the Local Power Development Program implemented by UNITAS in 8 capital cities of Bolivia.
As UNITAS Executive Director, she represents its members in different global, regional and national spaces (Open Forum on CSO Effectiveness, Civil Society Partnership for Development Effectiveness, Social Watch, International Forum of National NGO Platforms, Beyond 2015, Development Policy Foum, Mesa de Articulación de Redes y Plataformas de ONGs de America Latina y El Caribe).
