The most successful group on Capacity4dev.eu in 2015 was the Biodiversity for Life (B4Life) group, followed closely by the ROSA network on Food & Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture and the Public Group on Water and Sanitation. Moderators Arnold Jacques de Dixmude & Philippe Mayaux, Laura Gualdi & Raymond Lataste and Antoine Saintraint respectively received the first, second and third prizes.

The groups were ranked according to the volume of content shared in 2015, their popularity (visitors, new members, total number of members) and the interactivity within the group (comments, number of contributors, recommendations).

The Knowledge Champions accolade for sharing knowledge through Voices & Views articles on Capacity4dev.eu went to:

First place: Bridget Dillon, from the Evaluation unit for the articles:

Second place: James McNulty, from the EU Delegation to Zambia, for the articles:

Their articles were among the most popular Voices & Views articles in 2015, while Bridget’s piece on uptake of evaluation was the most commented article in 2015.

The winners encouraged colleagues to join their groups, start writing own articles and share their knowledge. "There is a lot of knowledge at DEVCO, so start writing. [..]Yes, you can!" said Bridget Dillon.

The awards ceremony continued at the Capacity4dev.eu stand, with special recognition for some of the most active DEVCO units engaged in knowledge sharing on Capacity4dev.eu, both with regard to the groups and the articles. These were:

Well done for all our champions that received the first ever capacity4dev awards!

Beyond those I want to extend my congratulations and thanks to all those champions not on this list that have done a great deal to share knowledge on capacity4dev and promote the value of knowledge sharing all these years.

A big thanks also to our team in DEVCO and our support teams (ADE, Amplexor etc)  that have relentlessly worked over the past 7 years to create very valuable content, to support our members and communities to grow and share knowledge, and have continuously developped and improved the capacity4dev platform.

Without you all, capacity4dev would not be what it is today!

Keep the good work and keep on sharing and learning!
