Are you faced with the task of balancing interests of different members in your sector network or community? Are you confronted with the challenge to fill a sector network or a working group with life? Organizations need to adapt to the pace of change and innovation is a strategic priority. Communities are the most effective way to deliver agile learning and change.
The Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) is offering an Online Course Community Management. It focuses on the exchange among the participants, learning from good practices and the experience of others and the work with one's own community or network.
Course content:
• Additional value and function of a community, success factors and obstacles
• The ecosystem in which one's own community is rooted and opportunities of exchange with other communities, networks and working groups
• Reflection on one's own community: What can you do as a community manager (or in another function) to make sure that the community functions well? What can people with other roles in the community contribute?
• Good Practices and tools
This course is intended for external customers and GIZ staff, i.e. community managers and colleagues who are involved in communities, networks, specialised associations or cross-organisational groups. The online training has a total duration of 8 weeks. The participants' input is about 2 - 4 hours per week, consisting of self-learning phases, discussions, working on the strategy for the own community as well as participation in webinars.
