Education for Climate Day 2026 will take place on 22 October, bringing together educators, learners, experts, practitioners and policymakers from across Europe to explore the role of climate education in building a fairer and more sustainable future.

This year’s edition focuses on fairness between generations: how the choices we make today affect young people and future generations, and how climate education can help build understanding, shared responsibility and meaningful action.

Participants can expect discussions, practical examples and perspectives from across the Education for Climate community, with opportunities to learn from initiatives putting climate education into practice.
