The MAPS Conference 2025 is organized in the context of the EU-funded project titled "Migration and Displacement Action Plan for Sub-saharan Africa - MAPS" and coordinated by the UNESCO Chair on Migrations, Population and Development at Sapienza University of Rome. This event will be the occasion to bring together leading scholars, policymakers, practitioners, civil society actors, and institutional stakeholders from across Africa and Europe to address urgent and complex issues related to migration and forced displacement in Sub-Saharan Africa. Participants will engage in four parallel roundtables focusing on the MAPS pillars, namely: People, Prosperity, Peace, Planet.
