Strategic approaches for wildlife conservation in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the marine environment

The EU is in the process of developing continent-wide strategic approaches for wildlife conservation.

The strategic approach for Africa, Larger than Elephants, was published in 2015/16. It comprises two publications: a synthesis and a full regional analysis to serve as a basis for planning and decision-making. It is currently being updated in a new edition for 2022.

Larger than Tigers, the strategic approach for Asia, was published in 2018.

Larger for Jaguars, the strategic approach for Latin America and the Caribbean, was published (Synthesis report) in 2021, with regional volumes due in 2022.
