Description
This group is established to promote, to support and to inform about EU development strategy and programmes with Africa. Since 2020 EU has adopted new approaches that focus on working with Africa to replace old donor-recipient paradigm of delivering programs for Africa. While the EU is stepping up its #EUAfricaPartnership through #EUAfricaStrategy new challenges were added by the Covid 19 pandemic. EU has reaffirmed cooperation with African Union to promote resilience, migration management, gender equality, peace & economic development in Africa. Synergies are also sought with the ongoing Third Industrial Development Africa #IDDA3 programme of the United Nations.
