Challenges of territorial and spatial management of different global regions become more similar. How to change these pressing points and crisis? ✓ Exchange and foster Territorial Policy-Practice Solutions, that change crisis into opportunities, are urgently needed. ✓ Find Trustful Key Datasets and Inclusive Communication Ways that can reach all stakeholders and find solutions together. Since 2014, every 5th December is World Soil Day Land, soil and water are most essential resources of the planet earth. In the winter days around the World Soil Day, the lesser-known soil resource gets key attention, combining integral environmental recognition and technical solutions for urban-rural development, food safety, agricultural practices and other key environmental issues. Guided by United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (UN FAO) and Global Soil Partnership (GSP), World Soil Day 2018 focuses on “Be the Solution to Soil Pollution”. As a Worldwide Event of World Soil Day 2018, Testing of Knowledge@Terra Classrooms inaugurated in Shanghai, China in subsequent months (04.12.2018 - 30.09.2019), in order to understand and disseminate integrated policy-practice and territorial solutions over land, soil water and climate aspects. The main objectives of the 10-month test are: o Understand territorial characteristics and knowledge with all aspects of blue-green ecology and social economy, promote environmental regional education and innovative exchange models in the same region and across regions; o Communicate land-soil related agricultural management and sustainable solutions, with special attention to common crisis between Regional Policies & Practices; o Expand keynote actions of the World Soil Day from 1 day to 365 days of the year, transform into regional development practices; o To design spatial territorial policy-practice solutions as “Best Knowledge Exchange Classrooms” and continue after the testing period. The testing application focuses on young people, farmers and local policymakers with the theme of “sustainable management of agricultural and horticultural land use”. World Soil Day, other “Global Days”, UN Sustainable development goals, research and practice platform data sources etc. will be studied, integrated into lesson materials and on-site environmental situations. Knowledge@Terra Classrooms is a new education, exchange and cooperation method to link up nature-culture heritage, regional sustainable industries and policy-practice sustainable actions on global challenges. This testing application will select natural-cultural urban-rural heritage regions and understand regional awareness levels and other preconditions. With special cross-territorial comparisons, it will disseminate land-soil related policy-practice knowledge and approaches, incl. sustainable soil management and green technology, soil pollution prevention and eco system control, climate resilience and response tools, various agroecology systematic practices (sustainable cultivations), integrated water catchment management etc. Deepening discussions should be prepared for creative project modes and integrated solutions for green technologies, environmental education, spatial planning and investment-finance. Knowledge@Terra is an open initiative to smooth interaction between different policy, practice and teaching sources. The idea of Knowledge@Terra Classrooms comes from observed gaps of global and regional policy-practices, as well as holistic understanding of related scientific disciplinaries. To ensure increasingly inclusive inter-regional exchange, the growing supporter list reflects urgency on inter-territorial exchanges to achieve global-regional sustainability, prosperity and peace. For this special testing and exploration, sincere gratitude to great supports of the World Soil Day initiative, the Global Symposium on Soil Erosion and supporting individuals from testing institutions and observing regions! 世界不同地区的地缘空间治理挑战变得更加相似,如何改变这些迫切的疑点和危机? ✓ 迫切需要在地区间交流促进地域政策实践解决方案,变危机为机遇。 ✓ 找到所有相关利益者可理解和参与的可信赖关键数据包和包容交流方式,来一起找到解决方案。 自2014年以来,每年12月5日是世界土壤日 土地、土壤和水是最基本的地球资源。在世界土壤日的冬日里,少为人知的土壤资源得到重点关注,结合城乡发展、食品安全和工农业实践、管理和修复的环境综合认知和技术解决方案等关键点。由联合国粮农组织和全球土壤伙伴关系主持,2018年世界土壤日主题聚焦“土壤污染的解决方案”。 “地域知识课堂”测试作为2018年世界土壤日的全球活动于中国上海启动,为了共同应对世界危机,在2018世界土壤日和以后的几个月里(2018.12.04 - 2019.09.30)了解和传播融合气候、土地、土壤和水资源的政策实践和地域解决方案。这个为期十个月的特殊测试的主要目的如下: o 全面理解地域特征,包括蓝绿生态和社会经济的各个方面,促进同地区和跨地区的环境地域教育和创新交流模式; o 与土地土壤相关的农业管理和可持续解决方案,对地区政策实践共性危机进行重点关注; o 将世界土壤日的主旨行动从1天拓展到一年365天,并化为各地的实践行动; o 把空间地域的政策实践解决方案设计为“最有效且包容的知识交流课堂”,在测试之后延续。 主要针对青少年、农民和地方政策制定者,聚焦“农业和园林土地使用的可持续管理”主题,将研究世界土壤日、相关的“世界日”、联合国可持续发展目标、政策和实践的平台信息和资料等,有机融入教学内容和现场环境场景。 地域知识课堂是一个全新地域教育、交流和合作模式,来链接自然文化遗产与地区可持续产业,以及应对世界危机可持续政策实践行动。本次运用针对精选的自然文化遗产城乡地域,理解地方认知水平和其他前提。经过特殊的跨地域性比较,重点传播土地土壤相关的知识和解决方案,包括可持续土壤管理和绿色技术、土壤污染防治和生态环境监测、地区气候韧性和应变工具、多种生态和气候智慧农业的系统实践(可持续种植)、水流域综合管理等内容。为深入讨论绿色技术运用、环境认知、空间规划和投资金融的创新项目模式和综合解决方案做好准备。 地域知识课堂是一项开放式计划,旨在流通共享相关政策,知识和教学资源。地域知识课堂的构思观察到国际和地区的相关政策和实践之间的障碍得以产生。为确保区域间交流的进程日益增强包容性,不断增长的支持清单反映了跨地域交流的紧迫性,以实现全球和地区的可持续、繁荣与平等。对于这个特殊的测试和探索,感谢与粮农组织和全球荒漠化组织在世界土壤日和全球土壤侵蚀研讨会的信息交流,以及测试和观察地区的机构和个人的大力支持! Stepping into the development after testing phase, Knowledge@Terra has set up contacts with a number of research, educational and policy institutions and organizations in China, the EU and other countries. The UN-FAO and some key players of iconic heritage regions also expressed interests, involving in deeper discussion on possible cooperation. This exchange group is set up to continue the efforts to integrate territorial sustainable solutions and meet global and regional sustainable knowledge sharing for acting together. During and after the testing period, the group activities record the interesting solutions combining local heritages and modern technologies, that are the "Backbones of Regions and Territories". To develop educational and exchange forms between different territories, dialogue with professional and authorized sharing platforms and programs as much as possible, cope global and regional crisis with all related parties together, 5 combinable lesson forms are identified so far: Regular classrooms, practice classrooms, experimental labs, local production sites, study field trip, exchange lecture/conference. To bridge knowledge exchange gaps from territorial and global levels, share workable global-regional solutions on territorial development and technical process synergistically, understanding and respect to the sensitive issues of regional environmental cooperation are important. Below are different Knowledge@Terra public levels listed according to the cooperating platforms and their targeted groups: I. Knowledge@Terra Classrooms for students, farmers and policymakers Based on research and testing results, territorial solution comparance and scientific educational material sharing of neighbouring and faraway regions will help different leveled players to deeply understand and learn from each other, bridge scientific and practice knowledge communication, gradually into multi-actor understanding. Through facilitation of territorial knowledge interfaces “GreenMagnets’ Tools”, data and curricula in physical and online environments, , evolve into open scientific research and practice education on global & regional policy reports, planning design, practices and technologies, fill understanding gaps of multiple actors. II. “Knowledge@Terra Observatories” open to targeted group and stakeholders To get understanding by green tech managers and territorial users on sensitive policy management of land-soil pollution, facilitate responsible and multi-winning green tech display and transaction approaches, Knowledge@Terra can be established as half-open display and discussion platform. According to sustainable spatial planning and green circular policies, better combine realistic effects of green tech solutions, induce green investment and financial schemes. The related green tech should be transferable upon approval of sellers and buyers with selected platform tools and territorial user cases. 即将进入测试阶段后的发展,地域知识课与中国、欧盟和其他地区的研究、教育和政策机构在建立深入联系。联合国粮农组织和一些标志性遗产地区的地域方表示了兴趣,深化探讨可能的合作方式。此交流群的成立继续综合优秀地域解决方案的努力,进行可持续知识的有效交流和发展共享。 。相关活动记录测试期间和之后的有益发现。这些地域解决方案结合了地方传统与现代技术,是其所在”地区和地域的支柱“,巩固全球和地区共同行动的基础。 为了发展跨地域教育交流形式,尽可能与专业和权威性现有共享平台和项目对话,与相关各方共同应对全球和区域危机,初步确定了五种主要可组合的课程形式: 常规课堂,实践课堂,实验室,场地调研(包括实地考察和地方实践),交流讲座/研讨会。 为了弥合差距,协同共享国际和地区的地域发展和技术流程解决方案,了解和尊重地方环境协作的敏感问题非常重要。以下根据合作平台和他们的服务对象列出地域知识课的公开程度分类: I. 针对学生、农民和政策管理者的“地域知识环境课堂” 根据研究和测试的结果,附近和遥远地区的地域方案比较,科学教育材料的共享可帮助不同层次的相关各方的理解和学习,衔接理论和实践性的知识交流,渐渐形成多角色理解。 通过设计配置现实和网络环境的地域知识界面“绿磁界面工具”、信息和课程包,演变为开放的科学研究和实践教学,深刻理解国际和地区政策研究报告、规划设计、实践和技术,补齐多方理解差异。 II. 向特定人群和相关方开放的“地域知识观测平台” 为了使绿色技术管理者和地区用户了解较敏感的土地污染政策管理,促进负责任,多赢利的绿色技术展示和转让方案,地域知识课可设计为半开放的展示和讨论平台。 根据可持续空间规划和绿色循环政策,更好结合绿色技术解决方案的实际效果,推导绿色投资和融资计划。 相关技术信息经数据所有者批准后应可予转让,结合精选的平台工具和地域使用案例。
