Welcome to this deep dive webinar on Earth Observation & Spatial Analysis for Urban development in support of data applications for sustainable urban development projects across partner countries, organised by INTPA F4 in...
Description
Space applications and Earth Observation are becoming a critical resource for countries to address global challenges such as sustainable development, climate change, poverty, management of and access to water and resources and to provide connectivity to populations in remote areas. This, in turn, is stimulating social and economic opportunities and fostering industrial collaboration and the development of knowledge-based societies which can trigger the growth of SMEs and start-ups.
However, in many parts of the world, access to space applications and key technologies remains limited. This Public Group allows members to share their knowledge and experiences in using space data, services and applications to foster sustainable development.
