REWARDS – Renewable Energy Workforce Advancement and Recruitment through Demand-driven Skills
REWARDS – Renewable Energy Workforce Advancement and Recruitment through Demand-driven Skills is implemented in Malawi from January 2026 to December 2027, led by the Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TEVETA). The project focuses on the renewable energy sector, aligning vocational training with concrete job opportunities identified together with employers and industry actors. Through close collaboration with renewable energy companies, TEVET providers and public institutions, REWARDS equips young people with industry-relevant skills while strengthening Malawi’s capacity to meet growing labour demand in solar energy and power distribution.
