URBAN SKILLS – Sustainable urban mobility as a driver of employment in Senegal is implemented in Senegal from September 2025 to August 2027, led by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie. The project focuses on sustainable urban mobility, working with companies and training providers to link vocational training with labour market demand and support youth and women’s access to employment.

This project is implemented under Pillar 3 of the TEI Opportunity-Driven Skills and VET in Africa (OP-VET).
Pillar 3 supports strategic, opportunity-driven VET and skills development projects that align training with concrete employment opportunities arising from public and private investments. By engaging employers, VET institutions and public actors, these projects strengthen workforce readiness in priority sectors and support sustainable job creation.
