I hold a MA in Globalisation, Business and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex (UK). I have over 13 years’ experience in international development, working in academic and non-profit organisations as a research consultant, project manager and trainer. I have a sound knowledge of the context of Portuguese speaking African countries, as a result of having lived in Angola, Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau for over five years. My research interests relate to development finance, green economy and market-based approaches to reduce poverty.
