Joined NALAS in October 2015 as an integrated expert of the German International Cooperation (GIZ/CIM) and is since August 2021 a regular member of the Secretariat. My tasks as an EU Enlargement Affairs Coordinator are centered in the positioning of NALAS vis-a-vis EU institutions and other relevant entities. More than 20 years of professional experience with emphasis on democratization and descentralization processes, good governance and state modernization working for the German International Cooperation and EU institutions in Europe and abroad. Holding a MA in Political Science from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany and a postgraduate degree and PhD. in Political Science and Law from Aix-en-Provence University in France.
