Contributing to food security for the population of Cuba (ADELANTE, phase I)
The Triangular Cooperation Project "Contributing to Food Security for the Population of Cuba", co-financed by the European Union through the ADELANTE Programme, aimed to enhance the availability of safe animal-derived food and improve animal health standards in Cuba. By focusing on strengthening diagnostic capacities and upgrading laboratory infrastructures, the initiative addressed critical aspects of food security and public health. Through collaborative efforts between Chilean and Cuban institutions, the project fostered knowledge exchange and capacity building to support sustainable agricultural development.

ADELANTE 2 - The EU's Triangular Cooperation programme with Latin America and the Caribbean (2021 - 2027)
ADELANTE 2 is the EU's LAC regional programme that aims at supporting the achievement the Agenda 2030 goals through triangular cooperation.

ADELANTE, phase I (2016 - 2020)
The ADELANTE Programme, first phase (2016-2020), supported 8 Triangular Cooperation projects in various thematic areas, in several countries, with all types of actors (more than 50 organisations from 18 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition to several European institutions), with diverse forms of collaboration between them and with different intervention strategies. These projects have contributed significantly to the Region's sustainable development and have generated interesting and useful sectoral and cross-cutting learning and experience exchanges.
