News details

This Saturday (April 5, 2025), the first module of our Train-the-Trainer seminar will take place. The team and participants are looking forward to productive hours!

DCYDE! is a Europe-wide project that shapes sustainable development in Thuringia and the world through "Global Citizenship Education" (GCE) and promotes knowledge about gender equality and discrimination sensitivity. DCYDE! makes global citizenship tangible by bringing together young people and educators from around the world at a digital table to implement collaborative projects related to the global sustainable development goals (SDGs).

To achieve this, DCYDE! offers "Train-the-Trainer" seminars to qualify volunteers and professionals in (non-)formal education and youth work. The trainers from all over Europe will first be trained by experts in the areas of digital "Global Citizenship Education," gender equality, and discrimination sensitivity. They will then pass on their knowledge and skills to regional team members who want to plan and implement projects with young people in their communities.

In this way, online communication and digital media create location-independent, cross-border learning communities that strengthen young Europeans and their peers from all over the globe in the 4C-competencies (communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking) and familiarize them with digital tools.

The eight modules of the Train-the-Trainer seminar are spread over the next three months and will take place both online and in person.

We look forward to the great changes this will inspire – both within the participants and on a more global scale!
